Third, the socket pipe fitting leakage magnetic flux detection method

The basic principle of the leakage flux detection method is based on the high magnetic permeability of the ferromagnetic material. The magnetic permeability of the elbow corrosion defect is much smaller than the magnetic permeability of the elbow. The elbow is under the action of an external magnetic field. When magnetized, when there is no defect in the elbow, most of the magnetic lines pass through the steel pipe, and the magnetic lines are evenly distributed; when there is a defect inside the elbow, the magnetic lines of force are bent, and a part of the magnetic lines leak out of the surface of the steel pipe. By detecting the leakage flux that escapes from the surface of the magnetized elbow, it is possible to determine whether or not the defect exists.
